Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or any other major with quantitative course work.
Actively pursuing actuarial exams.
Key Responsibilities
Data compilation, validation, reconciliation and analysis.
Analysis for reserving for technical provisions.
Analysis for pricing and underwriting review.
Analysis for solvency review.
Support on other actuarial tasks.
Support on producing IFRS 17 disclosures, performing reviews and validation against IFRS 4.
Reinsurance analysis and support.
Other general consulting work.
Any development work assigned from time to time.
Skills
Good expertise in MS Office (excel and power point in particular).
Fair knowledge of software such as SAS, R etc..
Experience of working for the GCC / Middle East market will be an advantage.
Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
