We Are Hiring: Head of Finance Strategic Leadership | Financial Excellence | Business Growth Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 10+ Years | Senior Leadership Level We are seeking a highly accomplished and commercially astute Head of Finance to lead our financial strategy, strengthen financial governance, and drive sustainable business growth. This senior leadership role requires an individual with extensive financial expertise, strong business acumen, and a proven ability to translate financial data into strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Financial Leadership · Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's business objectives and long-term growth plans. · Advise the Managing Director and senior management on financial performance, investment decisions, business risks, and growth opportunities. · Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, business planning, and scenario analysis. · Identify opportunities to improve profitability, operational efficiency, and financial sustainability. Financial Planning & Performance Management · Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and consolidated financial statements, where applicable. · Monitor working capital, liquidity, operating costs, revenue performance, and financial KPIs. · Deliver timely, accurate, and actionable financial insights to support executive decision-making. · Establish effective financial reporting frameworks and performance-monitoring systems. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management · Ensure compliance with applicable UAE financial regulations, VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory reporting requirements. · Oversee internal controls, financial policies, risk management, and audit processes. · Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, tax advisers, and other financial stakeholders. · Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality of all financial records and transactions. Operational & Team Leadership · Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll coordination, and financial closing. · Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team. · Drive process improvements, automation, and effective use of ERP and financial management systems. · Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing and adherence to internal reporting deadlines. Candidate profile · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is an advantage. · Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is strongly preferred. · Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with substantial experience in a senior management or finance leadership role. · Strong expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, financial reporting, and internal controls. · Comprehensive knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and relevant statutory compliance requirements. · Demonstrated experience in leading finance teams and advising executive management. · Advanced proficiency in financial modelling, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and financial analytics. · Exceptional analytical thinking, commercial judgment, negotiation, and decision-making capabilities. · High standards of professionalism, integrity, accountability, and discretion.
