Interior Site Supervisor – Warehouse Fit-Out & Project Execution

Role: Interior Site Supervisor Department: Project Management / Warehouse Consulting Experience: 3–6 Years Location: Project Site (On-site) Employment Type: Full-time About the Role We are looking for an experienced Interior Site Supervisor to oversee and monitor the on-ground execution of a warehouse interior development and fit-out project. The project involves the implementation of a warehouse layout designed by our consulting team. A separate contracting agency will be responsible for executing the work, while the selected candidate will represent the consulting team on-site, ensuring that all activities are carried out as per approved layouts, drawings, specifications, quality standards and project timelines. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with interior design firms, contractors and multiple vendors, with strong capabilities in site supervision, execution monitoring, coordination and project tracking. Key Responsibilities 1. Site Supervision & Execution Monitoring Supervise day-to-day execution of warehouse interior and fit-out activities carried out by the appointed contracting agency. Monitor work against approved civil, electrical, furniture and interior layouts. Ensure execution adheres to approved drawings, specifications, dimensions and quality standards. Conduct regular site inspections and identify deviations, execution gaps and quality issues. Coordinate with the contractor to ensure timely resolution of site-level issues. 2. Interior & Warehouse Fit-Out Coordination Monitor execution of office interiors, furniture installation, partitions, flooring, ceiling and other interior works. Supervise mezzanine floor fabrication and installation activities. Monitor warehouse racking installation and associated infrastructure. Oversee electrical layout implementation, lighting, wiring and other related installations. Coordinate civil modifications and other finishing activities wherever required. 3. Contractor & Vendor Management Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and multiple vendors involved in the project. Track daily work progress and ensure adequate manpower and materials are deployed at the site. Monitor vendor deliverables and ensure work is completed as per agreed timelines. Act as the coordination point between the consulting team, client representatives and execution contractors. 4. Project Timeline & Progress Tracking Maintain daily work progress reports and update project trackers. Monitor execution against the project schedule and identify potential delays. Follow up with contractors on pending activities, dependencies and milestones. Escalate execution bottlenecks, resource constraints and timeline risks to the project management team. Share regular progress updates, photographs and site observations. 5. Quality Control & Documentation Ensure workmanship and material quality meet approved standards. Verify dimensions, installations and site execution against approved drawings. Maintain records of site inspections, material deliveries, work progress and pending activities. Highlight discrepancies and ensure corrective actions are implemented before work closure. Required Skills & Experience 3–6 years of experience in interior site supervision, interior fit-outs or project execution. Prior experience working with an interior design firm, interior contracting company or project management consultancy. Strong hands-on experience supervising contractors and multiple vendors at project sites. Practical exposure to interior execution, electrical installations, furniture, flooring, partitions and finishing works. Exposure to mezzanine structures, industrial interiors, warehouse fit-outs or racking systems will be an added advantage. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, layouts and execution plans. Good understanding of site measurements, material specifications and quality checks. Strong coordination, communication, reporting and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Excel and basic project tracking tools. Preferred Candidate Profile We are specifically looking for someone who has: Worked on-site with an interior designer or interior design consultancy. Supervised contractors responsible for executing interior projects. Experience coordinating multiple vendors and monitoring parallel work activities. Independently handled day-to-day site monitoring and project progress tracking. A practical, hands-on approach to ensuring that planned designs and layouts are implemented correctly. Important: This is primarily an interior execution supervision and monitoring role, not a conventional civil construction supervisor position.
