🚀 WE ARE HIRING | Senior Linux Administrator We are looking for an experienced Senior Linux Administrator to manage and maintain enterprise Linux infrastructure, Red Hat OpenShift environments, and enterprise backup and recovery operations. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across Linux administration, automation, security, container platforms, and enterprise backup solutions. 🔹 KEY TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 1. Linux & Red Hat Administration Hands-on administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) across virtual and cloud environments. Installation, configuration, upgrades, package management, user administration, permissions, and performance tuning. Advanced Linux troubleshooting covering operating systems, hardware, application services, system performance, and resource utilization. Linux storage administration, including disk partitioning, Logical Volume Manager (LVM), file systems, and storage capacity management. Red Hat Satellite Server administration for system lifecycle management, patching, and provisioning. Linux security policies, access controls, security baselines, and CIS benchmarks. 2. Automation & Scripting Hands-on experience writing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles for automation and configuration management. Scripting experience using Bash, Python, and Perl. 3. Red Hat OpenShift Administration OpenShift administration, including RBAC policies and ServiceAccounts. Cluster health checks and monitoring of nodes, control plane components, and cluster operators. Troubleshooting pod failures, image pull errors, and node degradation. Cluster upgrades, patching, and operator updates. OpenShift backup and disaster recovery, including etcd snapshots and cluster restore testing. 4. Enterprise Backup & Storage Solutions Hands-on experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, including backup job management, monitoring, troubleshooting, replication, and restore operations. Administration of enterprise backup storage solutions, including Dell EMC Data Domain. Experience with object storage platforms such as Dell EMC ECS. Strong understanding of backup strategies, data protection policies, disaster recovery procedures, and restore validation. 🔹 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain RHEL systems across virtual and cloud environments. Automate administrative tasks and system configurations using Ansible and scripting tools. Manage system lifecycle, patching, and provisioning through Red Hat Satellite Server. Implement and maintain security configurations, organizational policies, and CIS benchmarks. Diagnose and resolve complex Linux infrastructure and performance issues. Manage Linux storage, partitions, LVM, and file systems. Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, troubleshooting records, and incident reports. Manage OpenShift user accounts, roles, permissions, and cluster operations. Perform OpenShift cluster health checks, troubleshooting, upgrades, and patching. Execute OpenShift backup and disaster recovery activities, including etcd snapshots and restore testing. Manage enterprise backup and replication operations using Veeam Backup & Replication. Monitor backup jobs, investigate failures, and resolve backup-related issues. Maintain backup infrastructure through upgrades, patching, configuration updates, and health checks. Conduct periodic backup restoration tests to validate data integrity and disaster recovery readiness. Administer Dell EMC Data Domain and object storage platforms such as Dell EMC ECS. Ensure backup and recovery operations comply with organizational data protection policies, retention requirements, and security standards. Collaborate with infrastructure, virtualization, application, and security teams to support operational activities and disaster recovery. 🔹 PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS & ADDITIONAL SKILLS Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA). Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE). Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator (RHCOA) – Preferred. Experience with Red Hat Quay, container image management, and vulnerability scanning. 🔹 ROLE SCOPE Senior individual contributor responsible for enterprise Linux systems administration and infrastructure operations. Independent ownership of installation, configuration, automation, security, monitoring, troubleshooting, patching, upgrades, backup, and recovery.
