Role Description The Architecture Site Engineer will oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure that architectural designs are executed accurately and safely. This full-time role, based on-site in New Cairo, includes coordinating with civil and structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers, as well as monitoring work progress against project plans and schedules. The Architecture Site Engineer will conduct quality control checks, review technical drawings, resolve site issues, and ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety standards. The role also involves preparing site reports, documenting construction milestones, and communicating updates to project managers and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor all architectural works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Review architectural shop drawings and construction details before execution. Coordinate with structural, electrical, and mechanical teams to resolve technical issues and avoid design conflicts. Inspect and monitor finishing works, including masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, painting, doors, windows, and façades. Ensure proper implementation of architectural details, dimensions, levels, and materials according to approved documents. Coordinate with consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely execution and approval of site activities. Prepare and follow up on Inspection Requests (IRs) and ensure closure of site inspection comments. Monitor material quality and verify compliance with approved samples and technical submittals. Prepare daily and weekly site progress reports and report any technical or execution issues. Monitor subcontractors' performance and ensure adherence to the project schedule. Identify site discrepancies and coordinate the implementation of appropriate corrective actions. Assist in quantity take-offs, progress tracking, and preparation of as-built drawings. Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable building codes and standards. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognized university. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in architectural site supervision and execution. Strong knowledge of architectural construction methods, finishing materials, and technical specifications. Proven experience in reviewing shop drawings and supervising architectural works. Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage. Good understanding of construction quality control procedures and site inspection processes. Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
