Role Description The Math Tutor will provide high-quality virtual instruction in core math subjects, including foundational mathematics, algebra, and related topics, to learners of varying ages and skill levels. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging online sessions, assessing student understanding, adapting explanations and practice problems to individual learning styles, and monitoring progress using Evallo.ai’s platform tools. The tutor will communicate regularly with learners and, when needed, guardians or program coordinators to set goals, provide feedback, and adjust learning plans. This is a full-time remote role, requiring consistent availability during scheduled tutoring hours and reliable use of online tools and resources. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Mathematics and Algebra, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and accessibly. Experience in Tutoring and Online Tutoring, including delivering structured lessons and adapting to diverse learner needs. Excellent Communication skills, including active listening, constructive feedback, and professional written and spoken interaction. Comfort using digital tools and learning platforms; ability to quickly learn new ed-tech systems. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field, or equivalent experience in math instruction. Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and maintain organized records. Prior experience with standardized test prep (e.g., SAT/ACT math) is a plus. Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and continuous improvement in instructional practices.
