Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The CFO will oversee financial planning and budgeting, review and analyze financial statements, and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting to leadership and stakeholders. This role will involve monitoring cash flow, managing financial risks, and providing strategic financial advice to support business growth and operational efficiency. The CFO will coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and external partners, maintain compliance with relevant financial regulations, and help implement systems and controls that enhance financial transparency and performance. Qualifications Strong skills in Finance and Financial Planning to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy. Demonstrated expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and clear communication of financial results. Proven Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess risks, and support informed decision-making. Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, ideally within insurance, financial services, or professional services environments. Knowledge of regional and international accounting standards and regulatory requirements relevant to operations in the UAE. Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborating across locations and time zones. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly. Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA, CFA) are an advantage. Show more Show less
