🚀 WE ARE HIRING | SENIOR PAYMENT GATEWAY & SERVER INTEGRATION SPECIALIST Prime Axis Strategic Consultants Project: European Fintech & Digital Payment Infrastructure We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Payment Gateway Engineer / S2S & API Integration Specialist to support the development, deployment, integration and management of a secure, scalable international payment technology platform. This is a specialized technical position for professionals with proven, hands-on experience in banking payment systems, server-to-server (S2S) transactions, IP-to-IP connectivity and payment API integrations. Key Technical Requirements ✅ S2S Payment Integration: Server-to-server payment processing, authentication, authorization, webhooks and transaction handling. ✅ IP-to-IP Connectivity: Secure server communications, IP whitelisting, VPNs, routing, firewalls and network security. ✅ Payment APIs: REST APIs, JSON/XML, banking APIs, payment gateway integrations and third-party PSP connectivity. ✅ Banking Protocols: Understanding of ISO 8583, ISO 20022 and payment messaging standards. ✅ Server Infrastructure: Linux/Windows server administration, VPS, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, SSL/TLS and secure deployments. ✅ Payment Security: PCI DSS, encryption, tokenization, HSM integration and secure credential management. ✅ Backend Technologies: Java, Python, Node.js, .NET or equivalent payment integration technologies. ✅ Transaction Management: Payment authorization, capture, refunds, reconciliation, settlement, logging and monitoring. ✅ Production Reliability: Load balancing, high availability, disaster recovery and troubleshooting. Candidate Profile - 5+ years of relevant professional experience preferred. - Demonstrated experience implementing live payment gateway or banking integrations. - Practical experience with European payment service providers, acquirers or financial institutions is a strong advantage. - Ability to design, deploy and troubleshoot secure production payment infrastructure. - Strong problem-solving skills and independent technical leadership. Important: General IT support, Cisco IP telephony or basic server administration alone will not qualify candidates for this specialist position.
