Merchandiser

We are Hiring: Junior Buyer / Merchandiser (Sports Division) Location: Nasr City About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Junior Buyer / Merchandiser to join our Merchandise Planning and Buying team. In this role, you will lead end-to-end merchandise planning, buying, and private label sourcing across our sports brand portfolio. You will own the sales plan, optimize Open-To-Buy (OTB) strategies, and drive profitability through precise assortment planning and inventory control. Key Responsibilities Sales & Profit Planning: Build and execute strategic sales and profit plans to consistently meet budgeted KPIs and margin targets. Buying & Range Building: Develop comprehensive range plans, collection stories, and buy plans aligned with current fitness and sportswear trends. Inventory Management: Oversee OTB intake, store allocation plans, forward cover, and stock-to-sales ratios to optimize stock turn and minimize risk. Private Label Sourcing: Drive private label buying, sourcing, and collection development. Margin & Markdown Control: Manage cost reduction strategies and markdown targets to maximize profitability. Performance Analysis: Evaluate seasonal and post-seasonal KPIs to apply data-driven insights into future buying cycles. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. Experience: 1-2 years of hands-on experience as a Merchandise Planner or Junior Buyer (sports industry experience is a strong plus). Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel and retail buying/planning workflows. Familiarity with Retail Merchandise Financial Planning tools (e.g., R-MFP) is preferred.
