Director - Credit Fund

Sphere recruitment are partnering with a UAE-based institutional investment fund seeking an experienced Director for their credit fund to lead credit investment origination, underwriting and portfolio management. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the fund’s credit strategy, identifying attractive risk-adjusted investment opportunities and leading transactions from origination through to execution and ongoing portfolio management. Key Responsibilities: Lead credit investment origination, underwriting and transaction execution. Identify and assess investment opportunities across relevant credit strategies. Oversee financial modelling, credit analysis, due diligence and deal structuring. Present investment recommendations to senior leadership and Investment Committees. Manage portfolio performance, credit risk and ongoing exposure monitoring. Build and maintain relationships with borrowers, financial institutions and key market participants. Requirements: Significant experience in credit investing, private credit, direct lending or structured finance. Proven track record of sourcing, underwriting and executing credit transactions. Strong technical expertise in financial modelling, credit risk assessment and debt structuring. Experience within an institutional investment fund, asset manager, private credit platform or investment bank. Strong commercial judgement and stakeholder management capabilities. Show more Show less
