Role Description This full-time, on-site Electrician role is based in Dubai and involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in line with company and regulatory standards. Day-to-day tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, wiring and cabling, diagnosing faults, performing routine inspections, and carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance. The Electrician will support testing and commissioning activities, ensure safe work practices, and coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades on Civil and MEP projects. The role also includes documenting work performed, reporting issues, and ensuring compliance with local codes and company procedures. Qualifications Strong knowledge of electrical installation, maintenance, and repair for commercial, residential, or industrial projects. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams. Experience in testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning electrical systems and equipment. Solid understanding of safety standards, local electrical codes, and best practices in MEP environments. Relevant technical qualification or diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology. Previous experience as an electrician, preferably within Civil and MEP contracting or electromechanical projects. Ability to use electrical tools, measuring instruments, and testing devices effectively and safely. Good communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and within a multicultural team. Willingness to work on-site across different project locations in Dubai and adapt to project schedules. Knowledge of basic computer skills for reporting and documentation is an advantage.
