Sr. Control & Financial Reporting Officer

Bank of Jordan is looking for an experienced Control & Financial Reporting Senior Officer to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain effective internal controls, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, contributing to the bank’s financial integrity and strategic objectives. Responsibilities: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Monitor and enhance internal controls over financial reporting, identifying areas for improvement. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management and stakeholders. Ensure timely and accurate submissions of regulatory reports and compliance with local banking regulations. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance, highlighting key trends and discrepancies. Work closely with external auditors during the audit process, providing necessary documentation and addressing any findings. Develop and implement policies and procedures to strengthen financial control frameworks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial strategies and reporting obligations. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial reporting, internal controls, or a similar role within the banking or financial services sector. Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulatory requirements, and auditing standards. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proficiency in presenting financial information clearly. High level of professionalism and integrity.
