Senior Shipping & Logistics Sales Executive

ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Shipping & Logistics Sales Executive with a strong understanding of the freight forwarding and shipping industry, capable of independently developing new business, managing key customer relationships, and generating profitable shipping opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Independently identify, approach, and secure new customers among importers, exporters, manufacturers, and trading companies. Develop and maintain an active portfolio of shipping and logistics customers. Generate and convert freight enquiries into confirmed shipments. Negotiate freight rates, commercial terms, and service agreements. Develop business opportunities across FCL, LCL, air freight, and integrated logistics solutions. Coordinate with shipping lines, overseas agents, and operations teams to provide competitive commercial offers. Manage customer relationships and identify opportunities for repeat and additional business. Maintain sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance reports. Achieve agreed revenue, shipment volume, and profitability targets. REQUIREMENTS 3–5 years of relevant shipping, logistics, or freight sales experience. Previous sales or commercial experience with a freight forwarding company or shipping line is mandatory. Proven track record of customer acquisition and generating profitable shipments. Strong knowledge of sea freight services, freight pricing, and international shipping procedures. Existing customer relationships within the Egyptian import/export market are highly preferred. Ability to manage the complete sales cycle independently. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Good command of English. Experience in bulk, breakbulk, project cargo, or chartering is an added advantage. Show more Show less
