Web Technical Lead, MERN (2 openings) Technical guidance and implementation oversight for three customer and partner facing web applications on MongoDB, Express.js, React and Node.js, including a payment gateway integration portal and a dispute handling portal. Owns code quality, security reviews, API design, release support and incident investigation. Requirements 12+ years software engineering. 6+ years Node.js and React in production. MongoDB data modelling and performance. REST API design, OAuth 2.0 and JWT, OWASP Top 10, CI/CD. Payments or banking web experience strongly preferred. Fluent English. About the engagement Datalake is building dedicated engineering squads for a leading financial services company in Riyadh. You will work from a Datalake delivery centre in Riyadh, Cairo or Tunis (no home working), Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 to 17:00 Saudi time (UTC+3), on the Saudi public holiday calendar, inside the client's SDLC, repositories and CI/CD. Squads share a 24/7 critical incident on call rota with a documented backup. Professional English is mandatory for all documentation, ceremonies and reporting. Arabic is a plus.
