Role Description: We are looking for an Android Mobile Application Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Android applications. The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining Android mobile applications for robotic systems, integrating backend services and APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring high-quality mobile solutions. The role requires close collaboration with software developers, backend engineers, robotics engineers, AI engineers, QA engineers, and project teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and production-ready mobile applications. Responsabilities: · Design, develop, maintain, and enhance native Android mobile applications for robotic systems. · Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code using Kotlin and/or Java. · Build responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces following Android development best practices. · Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs, backend services, and third-party systems. · Implement authentication, authorization, and secure data handling within mobile applications. · Manage application data, local storage, caching, and synchronization. · Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application crashes, bugs, and performance issues. · Optimize application performance, responsiveness, memory usage, and stability. · Implement push notifications, background services, and real-time data updates where required. · Collaborate with backend developers to define API requirements. · Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and application release processes. · Prepare and maintain technical documentation for mobile applications and integrations. · Support application deployment, updates, and maintenance through Google Play Store. · Work closely with QA engineers to identify and resolve issues before production releases. · Collaborate with robotics, AI, software, and project teams to ensure successful application development and integration. Qualifications · Knowledge in backend development using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies. · Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Express.js, FastAPI, Django, or Spring Boot. · Understanding of database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB. · Experience with Firebase services, including Firebase Cloud Messaging and Crashlytics. · Experience with Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, and asynchronous programming. · Familiarity with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development. · Experience with WebSockets, real-time communication, and event-driven applications. · Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and automated mobile application deployment. · Experience developing mobile applications for robotic systems, IoT devices, or connected hardware.
