We are currently looking for a Hostess Welcome guests to the venue Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists Responsible for fielding telephone calls and organising reservations, floor plans and table allocations Consider the satisfaction of all guests by ensuring prompt, courteous and efficient service at all times Assist the department to drive guest satisfaction by providing consistent guest experiences. Report positive and constructive guest feedback to the manager Understand the importance of the guest arrival experience – and strive for consistency Assist with consistency of the restaurant presentation, labelling and signage Escort guest to assigned dining or bar areas Maintain a clean reception area Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly) Assist wait staff as needed Familiarity with health and safety regulations Promptly handle guest queries, complaints and all issues in a professional manner and ensure that all details are communicated to the Supervisor or Outlet Manager Experience Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required Pre-opening experience is an advantage Requirement Proven work experience as a Hostess Active listening and effective communication skills Flexibility to work in shifts High school diploma: food safety training is a plus Team spirit Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Should you believe that you are the right candidate for the role, please apply online ONLY by submitting your full updated CV, featuring a recent photograph Not the right fit?
