Company Description
This Could Work is a brand strategy consultancy in Doha. We help new ventures build their foundations and established businesses sharpen what they've already built.
Role Description
We're looking for a Communications Intern to help the right people find us. This is a remote, part time role with a weekly meeting, around 10 to 15 hours a week for three months. It is unpaid.
You'll research Doha businesses that would be a good fit and help us reach out to them. You'll keep our opinion pieces and press pitches on track and find new outlets and journalist requests worth answering. You'll also look for speaking slots, panels and events where T.C.W. should be seen, and keep our profiles and communications organised.
In return you'll get a close view of how brand strategy decisions get made, regular feedback and real work for your portfolio. You'll also get a reference at the end, and academic credit if your university offers it.
Qualifications
• Studying or recently graduated in communications, marketing, PR or journalism
• Strong written English, with a writing sample to share
• Comfortable reaching out to people you don't know
• Organised, able to track several outreach threads at once and follow up without being reminded
• Familiar with Doha's local brand scene, with Arabic as a plus
