Architect Inspector

We are seeking an experienced Architect Inspector to join our Building Projects Supervision Team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and monitoring architectural and finishing works at construction sites, ensuring all activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and relevant Dubai Municipality regulations. Key Responsibilities Conduct regular site inspections of architectural and building works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Inspect architectural elements, including blockwork, plastering, tiling, flooring, painting, ceilings, partitions, doors, windows, and façade works. Monitor internal and external finishing activities to ensure quality and workmanship meet the required standards. Review approved shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests. Identify construction defects, non-conformities, and deviations from approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and other disciplines to resolve site-related architectural issues. Prepare and maintain daily inspection reports, site observation reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs). Ensure corrective actions are implemented by contractors within the agreed timelines. Monitor construction progress and report any quality-related issues or delays to the Resident Engineer. Ensure compliance with project quality procedures, health and safety requirements, and applicable UAE regulations. Qualifications & Experience Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or a related discipline. Minimum 7+ years of overall experience in architectural inspection and building construction projects. Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in building projects. Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial buildings, residential developments, and mixed-use projects. Experience in a consultancy / supervision environment is mandatory. Strong knowledge of architectural construction, finishing works, materials, and quality control procedures. Familiarity with Dubai Municipality regulations, UAE building codes, and relevant international standards. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction details.
