Lead Operational Excellence

Job Purpose: Lead continuous improvement initiatives across CAF maintenance contracts to enhance safety, reliability, availability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Establish and maintain Operational Excellence practices, KPI management, and performance improvement programs in alignment with CAF objectives and contractual requirements. Job Description: Develop and implement Operational Excellence strategy across maintenance contracts. Monitor and improve key performance indicators including Fleet Availability, MTBF, MTTR, maintenance compliance, and service reliability. Lead root cause analyses (RCA) for significant failures and recurring issues. Drive Lean, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives across workshops and depots. Support implementation of maintenance best practices and asset management principles. Facilitate performance reviews and action plans with operational teams. Develop performance dashboards and management reports. Identify cost-saving and productivity improvement opportunities. Support audits, customer reviews, and continuous improvement programs. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and operational discipline. Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechatronics, or equivalent). Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in railway maintenance, asset management, operational excellence, or continuous improvement. Experience within metro, railway, transportation, or industrial maintenance environments. Knowledge of Lean Management, Six Sigma, RCA, KPI Management, and Continuous Improvement methodologies. ( green built certificate is advantage ) Good knowledge of CMMS systems and Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage cross-functional improvement projects and drive organizational change.
