Trade Finance Officer

WE ARE HIRING: TRADE FINANCE OFFICER Location: Dubai, UAE Employment Type: Full-Time We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Trade Finance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage trade finance transactions, coordinate with banks and suppliers, and ensure that import and export documentation is accurate and processed on time. Key Responsibilities Handle trade finance transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees, and documentary collections. Prepare, review, and process import and export documentation. Coordinate with banks, suppliers, customers, and logistics teams regarding trade finance requirements. Assist in managing LC issuance, amendments, document presentation, and settlements. Follow up on bank payments, transfers, transaction approvals, and outstanding documents. Review shipping documents, invoices, bills of lading, packing lists, and certificates for accuracy. Ensure compliance with banking requirements, company policies, and applicable trade regulations. Monitor transaction deadlines, payment schedules, and document expiry dates. Maintain accurate records of trade finance transactions and prepare reports when required. Assist with bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies related to trade transactions. Support cash flow management and working capital requirements related to import and export activities. Liaise with internal finance, procurement, and operations teams to ensure smooth transaction processing. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field. 2–5 years of relevant experience in trade finance, preferably in the UAE. Practical knowledge of Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, documentary collections, and international trade documentation. Familiarity with UCP 600, Incoterms, and international banking procedures is an advantage. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial documentation. Strong attention to detail, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines. Professional approach to handling confidential financial information.
