Lead Resident Engineer – Major Complex Projects Location: Dubai, UAE Salary: Up to AED 65,000 per month We are working with a leading international consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Lead Resident Engineer to oversee the construction delivery of a major, technically complex project in Dubai. This is a senior leadership position requiring someone with extensive experience managing large-scale construction projects, leading multidisciplinary site teams and coordinating with contractors, consultants and key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee site supervision and construction delivery across a major, complex development. Manage multidisciplinary engineering and supervision teams, ensuring quality, programme and contractual requirements are achieved. Oversee main contractors, subcontractors and specialist packages across multiple disciplines. Manage complex technical challenges, design coordination and construction interfaces. Ensure compliance with project specifications, international standards and local authority requirements. Lead progress meetings, technical reviews and coordination with clients and project stakeholders. Oversee contract administration, variations, claims and construction-related risks. Provide strategic leadership throughout construction, testing, commissioning and handover. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline. Extensive experience in Resident Engineer, Senior Resident Engineer or construction supervision leadership positions. Proven track record delivering major, technically complex projects with significant construction values. Experience managing large multidisciplinary site teams and multiple construction packages. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract administration and technical coordination. Previous experience working with leading international engineering or multidisciplinary consultancies. Strong client-facing, stakeholder management and leadership skills. Experience working on major projects in the UAE or wider GCC would be advantageous. Arabic language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
