Senior Façade Designer

(We may be open to freelancing remote arrangements for the right candidate). In this role, you’ll work on technically demanding and architecturally ambitious buildings, collaborating with leading architects and engineers to develop elegant, buildable solutions. If you have solid experience across a variety of façade typologies and are ready to take ownership of detailed design stages, we’d love to hear from you. Responsibilities Lead the development of detailed façade design packages for curtain walls, skylights, rainscreens, balustrades, and special structures. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical interfaces and deliver coordinated solutions. Translate architectural intent into technically sound and buildable systems. Mentor junior designers and contribute to internal design reviews. Requirements Minimum 6 years of experience in top facade consultancy firms, with a proven track record delivering complex façade systems from concept through to construction. Strong technical understanding of façade system build-ups, materials, tolerances, fixings, waterproofing, thermal and acoustic considerations. Ability to produce precise 2D and 3D design details using AutoCAD. Revit is a plus but not essential. Experience working on site and/or with contractors during construction is a strong advantage.
