Financial Planning Analyst

Job Description Card Job Title: Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst Reports To: Head Of Finance Objective(s): To lead the financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive financial performance, cost optimization, and resource allocation. Responsibilities: Prepare standalone and consolidated annual budgets and 3-year plans, and analyze actual financial and operational results to better understand company performance. Lead capital budgeting assignments that drive resource allocation and other business decisions. Review operational activities and performance and recommend productivity or cost optimization solutions. Periodically evaluate budgets, KPIs, and planning frameworks and propose, then implement, improvements. Actively support cash management and treasury activities. Review and propose improvements to internal control measures. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to promote understanding of business performance. Prepare performance reports and presentations, and any other required reporting requirements, including an analysis of income and operational expenditure. Prepare the reporting packages for the shareholders and do the needed analysis as required. Perform ad hoc analysis in coordination with relevant teams. Support the Head of Finance and the team members on any ad hoc tasks. Prepare and maintain the risk appetite model, monitor relevant financial and operational risk indicators against approved risk appetite thresholds, and prepare periodic reports highlighting exposures, deviations, and potential risks for management review. Prepare the annual group reporting package for the parent company/shareholder, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timely submission of financial information and supporting analysis in accordance with reporting requirements.
