Role Description The Senior Fashion Designer & Product Development (Swimsuit) role at Rosalte is a full-time, on-site position based in Qesm El Sheikh Zaid. This role is responsible for leading the design and development of swimsuit collections, from concept and trend research through final samples and production handoff. Day-to-day tasks include creating design concepts and sketches, selecting fabrics and trims, developing prints and embellishments, and overseeing fittings to ensure optimal fit, comfort, and aesthetic. The Senior Fashion Designer collaborates closely with product development, production, and merchandising teams to translate brand vision into commercially viable swimwear lines, maintain quality standards, and meet calendar deadlines. The role also includes monitoring market trends, reviewing competitor products, and contributing to collection planning to support Rosalte’s modern, lifestyle-driven brand identity. Qualifications Strong fashion design skills with proven experience in Fashion Design and Fashion-focused product development, ideally in swimwear or related categories. Expertise in textiles, including knowledge of swimwear fabrics, performance materials, and Textiles suitable for water and sun exposure. Hands-on experience with garment construction, Fitting, and pattern adjustments to achieve precise swimsuit fit and comfort. Proficiency in Embroidery and decorative techniques relevant to swimwear detailing and embellishment. Advanced skills in design tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) and technical packs for production. Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end product development cycles, including sampling, quality checks, and coordination with manufacturers. Strong trend research and market analysis capabilities, with an eye for color, silhouette, and consumer preferences. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead and coordinate with cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Prior experience in a senior or lead designer role in fashion or swimwear is highly beneficial. Show more Show less
