🚀 We're Hiring | Senior AWS DevOps Engineer 📍 Location: Egypt (On-site) 🏢 Company: Kent Consultancy 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time 🎯 Seniority: Senior Level (5+ Years) Kent Consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to take technical ownership of our cloud infrastructure and help us build highly scalable, secure, and reliable production environments. We're looking for someone who doesn't just deploy applications, but understands how to architect, automate, optimise, and scale cloud infrastructure from the ground up. 🔹 Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable, highly available AWS architectures. - Lead infrastructure migrations from traditional hosting environments to AWS. - Build and manage automated CI/CD pipelines. - Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation. - Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and AWS ECS/EKS. - Architect and optimise infrastructure for high-traffic applications and microservices. - Manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, VPC, IAM, and Load Balancers. - Implement monitoring, logging, security, backups, and disaster recovery strategies. - Optimise AWS infrastructure costs without compromising performance or reliability. - Troubleshoot complex production issues and improve system availability. 🔹 Required Qualifications ✅ 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. ✅ Strong hands-on experience designing and managing production environments on AWS. ✅ Advanced knowledge of AWS networking, security, IAM, VPC, and load balancing. ✅ Proven experience with Terraform, Docker, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines. ✅ Experience with PostgreSQL, RDS, database performance, and backup strategies. ✅ Strong scripting and automation skills using Python and/or Bash. ✅ Experience with infrastructure monitoring, performance optimisation, and production troubleshooting. ✅ Ability to independently design solutions and take ownership of infrastructure decisions. ⭐ Highly Desirable - AWS Solutions Architect Professional or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification. - Experience with Python/Django applications and microservices. - Proven experience migrating production systems to AWS with minimal downtime. - Experience scaling platforms to support thousands of concurrent users. - Knowledge of Redis, Kubernetes, CDN architecture, and video streaming infrastructure. - Experience with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar observability tools. 🎯 What We're Looking For We value real production experience over certifications alone.
