Finastra Equation Core Banking Developer

Role Purpose: Responsible for the development, customization, and maintenance of the Equation Core Banking System to support business needs and enhance operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot applications/API’s within Equation. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Equation CBS tools and technologies. Implement customizations, integrations, and enhancements as per business needs. Collaborate with business analysts, IT teams, and end-users to gather requirements and provide technical expertise. Ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices in development and deployment. Perform system testing, debugging, and documentation of solutions. Support system upgrades and patch management for Equation CBS. Provide technical support and resolve issues related to Equation CBS. Maintain detailed records of development activities and changes. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience in developing and maintaining Equation CBS by Finastra. Proficiency in COBOL, RPG, CLP or other relevant programming languages used in Equation CBS. Familiarity with banking processes and core banking systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills: Experience with integration projects and interfacing Equation CBS with other banking systems. Knowledge of Finastra’s architecture, modules, and development tools. Understanding of security and compliance requirements in banking IT. Show more Show less
