Full Stack Engineer

We're looking for a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer to lead the technical development of the platform from the ground up. This is a build-from-scratch opportunity with no legacy codebase. You'll take ownership of the technical architecture, design and build core systems, develop features across the stack, and lead a small engineering team while remaining actively involved in coding. Responsibilities Architect and develop a scalable, secure, multi-tenant platform from the ground up. Own backend development, database architecture, APIs, integrations, and key technical decisions. Build, test, and ship features across the stack, turning product designs into working software. Design and implement complex workflows involving athlete assessments, performance tracking, and development plans. Evaluate and integrate AI models and APIs into real product workflows. Lead and mentor a small engineering team while remaining hands-on with coding and technical delivery. Establish engineering best practices, including code reviews, testing, CI/CD, deployments, and monitoring. Criteria: 4+ years of professional software engineering experience and has built and shipped products. Strong hands-on backend development experience (Node.js/TypeScript, Python, or equivalent). Advanced relational database design and data modeling experience. Hands-on frontend development experience (React, Next.js, or equivalent). Experience designing, building, and deploying production applications. Strong understanding of system architecture and API development. Currently hands-on with coding, not solely in a management role. Experience leading or mentoring developers, or taking ownership of technical delivery. Strong startup mentality: resourceful, proactive, adaptable, and solution oriented. Uses Claude Code, Cursor, or similar AI coding tools daily and is highly skilled at using them to develop software faster and more efficiently. Show more Show less
