Financial Controller

Department: Global Financial Reporting, Accounting and Tax Location: United Arab Emirates Description We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our M&A Accounting team in the UAE. You’ll own close, reporting and audit, partner with local management, and bring each business in line with inDrive’s standards. It’s a hands-on role for a controller who enjoys multi-entity complexity and wants real influence on how acquisitions integrate. Key Responsibilities Own month-end close and reporting for one or more acquired entities Review balance sheet reconciliations and key journal entries Partner with local management to understand the business and explain results vs. budget and forecast Support budgeting, forecasting and earn-out tracking Book and maintain PPA entries; provide input for valuations and technical memos Handle audit requests and act as the auditors’ main contact for your entities Align local policies, processes and controls with corporate standards (incl. SOX where applicable) Coach local finance teams to improve close quality and timing Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 10+ years of experience in accounting/controllership (Big 4 is a plus) CPA/ACCA or equivalent Strong US GAAP knowledge Hands-on close and multi-entity experience; M&A integration and ERP transition/integration is a plus Business-minded, comfortable working with non-finance people Why join us Help us challenge injustice by creating fair choices for millions of people across 47 countries.
