NOC Engineer

We are seeking an experienced NOC Engineer – Design to join our infrastructure design team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating No Objection Certificate (NOC) applications, obtaining approvals from relevant authorities and utility providers, and ensuring that infrastructure design submissions comply with applicable authority requirements, standards, and regulations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and manage NOC applications and design approval submissions for infrastructure projects. Liaise with relevant authorities and utility providers, including RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, telecom operators, and other stakeholders, as applicable. Review design drawings, technical documents, and submission packages to ensure compliance with authority requirements. Prepare, submit, and track NOC applications, permits, design approvals, and related documentation. Coordinate with internal design teams, including Civil, Structural, Utilities, Traffic, Electrical, Mechanical, and Landscape disciplines. Monitor submission status, follow up on authority comments, and ensure timely closure of review comments. Review authority feedback and coordinate the required design revisions with the relevant engineering teams. Maintain NOC registers, approval trackers, submission records, and project documentation. Identify potential approval delays and coordinate with project teams to resolve issues affecting project schedules. Ensure all submissions comply with applicable UAE regulations, authority standards, and project requirements. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in NOC coordination, authority approvals, or infrastructure design projects. Experience working with UAE authorities and utility providers, particularly in Dubai, is preferred. Good understanding of infrastructure design submissions, authority approval procedures, and NOC requirements. Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary design teams and managing authority comments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD and relevant document management systems. Strong communication, coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills. Experience in an engineering consultancy or infrastructure design environment. Familiarity with RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other relevant authority procedures. Ability to manage multiple NOC submissions and meet project deadlines. Show more Show less
