Position Overview We are seeking a strategic and performance-driven Football Association Chief Planner / Player Health and Conditioning Specialist to support football development, optimize player fitness, and enhance team performance. This role is ideal for a passionate professional who combines sports planning, physical conditioning, injury prevention, and performance management to build stronger, healthier, and more competitive players. Key Responsibilities Develop strategic plans for football programs, training schedules, competitions, and player development initiatives. Design and implement strength, conditioning, endurance, and recovery programs tailored to players' needs. Monitor player fitness, workload, physical performance, and injury risk indicators. Collaborate with coaches, physiotherapists, medical staff, and technical teams to optimize player readiness. Establish performance standards, assess training outcomes, and implement continuous improvement strategies. Promote sports science best practices, player welfare, injury prevention, and long-term athletic development. Requirements Degree in Sports Science, Exercise Physiology, Sports Management, Physical Education, or a related field. Relevant experience in football development, athletic performance, strength and conditioning, or sports program planning. Strong knowledge of exercise prescription, fitness assessment, recovery strategies, and injury prevention. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and team collaboration skills.
