Senior Manager – Financial Services | Risk & Regulation (Market Risk / Liquidity Risk) In Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) within Assurance, we assist our clients to address the accounting and financial reporting challenges facing their business. The opportunity Seeking an experienced Senior Manager with 8 / 10+ years of risk and regulatory advisory experience, ideally gained within a Big 4 consulting firm. The candidate will work on risk and regulatory transformation engagements. Your Key Responsibilities Deliver risk and regulatory advisory projects. Manage multiple projects and ensure all engagements are planned and delivered within budget and on time Own and implement initiatives around financial risks Manage teams as well as senior client stakeholders and be responsible for delivering high-quality deliverables Play a key role in coaching junior team members Remain current on new development in regulatory and risk domain and help with business development Skills And Attributes For Success Pro- activity, accountability and results- driven people will flourish in this environment. To qualify for this role, you must have 8+ years of strong financial risk management/quantitative analysis experience withing a consultancy/big 4 firms or a bank Miminium a bachelor degree in a relevant filed including quantitative finance, Financial engineering, economics, applied mathematics/ statistics or similar. Professional certification in FRM or PRM is recommended but not mandatory Strong expertise in: Market risk including VaR, FRTB, IRRBB, RAROC, Stress testing, XVA Derivatives pricing, IPV (Independent price verification) Liquidity analysis including ILAAP, capital and RWA management and optimization Asset and liability management (ALM), Fund transfer pricing (FTP) Experience in quantitative analytics Experience with market risk models development and validation Prior experience in financial modelling and strong analytical and problem solving skills Good understanding of local and international regulatory requirements including Basel Experience in risk management and analytical tools/system (e.g. Phyton, SAS, R, Moody’s, Murex, Calypso, etc.) Exposure to business development in consulting (Proposal, RFP response, etc.) Strong communication skills Ability to work under pressure with stringent deadlines Willingness to travel anywhere within the MENA region Demonstrate integrity and work ethic Ideally, you’ll also have Proficiency in the Arabic language What we offer We offer a competitive compensation package where you’ll be rewarded based on performance and recognized for the value you bring to our business.
