Cyber Security Analyst

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join fintech startup. The successful candidate will help protect the company's systems, networks, applications and customer data from cyber threats. The role will involve monitoring security activities, identifying potential risks, supporting security projects and ensuring that appropriate security measures are in place. Previous experience in fintech, banking or digital payments is essential. Key Responsibilities: Monitor security systems and investigate suspicious activities or potential threats. Identify security weaknesses and support vulnerability assessments. Assist with cybersecurity incident management and follow-up actions. Help implement and maintain security policies, procedures and controls. Support security risk assessments and internal audits. Work with IT and development teams to improve system and application security. Help protect customer information, financial data and payment platforms. Support compliance with security standards such as ISO 27001 and PCI DSS. Manage user access reviews and support identity and access management. Prepare security reports and monitor remediation activities. Requirements & Experience 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security. Previous experience in a fintech, banking, digital payments or financial services company is essential. Good understanding of cybersecurity risks, security controls and best practices. Experience with security monitoring, incident management and vulnerability assessments. Knowledge of network, cloud and application security. Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, firewalls or vulnerability scanners. Understanding of ISO 27001, PCI DSS or other security frameworks. Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with both technical and business teams.
