About the Role:
We are looking for an Assistant Manager, ERP to join our IT Department and take ownership of day-to-day operations, incident resolution, and support across our Oracle Fusion Finance and Projects applications. Reporting to the Manager, IT Applications, this role is central to keeping our enterprise systems running smoothly for Finance, Projects, and Procurement teams across the business.
You'll be the first point of ownership when something goes wrong — triaging issues, coordinating fixes with technical teams and vendors, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll also help build the knowledge base, runbooks, and support practices that make the whole team faster.
What You'll Do:
Production Support & Incident Management
Own first-line functional support for Oracle Fusion Finance and Projects issues.
Triage incidents and service requests by urgency, business impact, and SLA priority.
Investigate issues, gather evidence, and coordinate resolution with technical teams, Oracle, and support partners.
Keep users and management updated until issues are resolved or stable workarounds are in place.
Issue Ownership & Action Tracking
Maintain a structured log of open issues, owners, and target closure dates.
Follow up with internal teams, vendors, and business users to drive actions to closure.
Escalate blockers clearly, with evidence and recommended next steps.
Prepare root-cause summaries and closure notes for high-impact or recurring problems.
Team Support & Knowledge Management
Support the wider application team with troubleshooting guidance and ticket reviews.
Build and maintain runbooks, FAQs, and knowledge articles for common issues.
Mentor junior team members and help standardize support responses.
Support workload coordination during month-end, year-end, and major releases.
Business Operations Support
Support Finance, Projects, and Procurement teams through operational cycles and issue resolution.
Translate business issues into clear support cases and resolution options.
Validate fixes with users before closing tickets.
Oracle Functional Coverage
General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Expenses, and Financial Reporting.
Project Costing, Project Budgets, and related project accounting support.
Approval workflows, roles/security, data reconciliation, and functional configuration support.
Integration, Reporting & Data Quality
Support integration issues between Oracle Fusion and systems such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Yardi, Unifier, and banking platforms.
Investigate failed transactions, interface errors, and data mismatches with technical teams.
Support reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View) used for issue analysis.
Service Governance & Continuous Improvement
Follow ITSM practices for incident, problem, change, and access management.
Track SLA performance and recurring issue trends.
Recommend improvements that reduce repeat incidents and manual effort.
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
ITIL certification preferred; PMP or Oracle Fusion certification is an advantage.
Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Fusion Financials and Projects in a live production environment.
Strong track record in incident, service request, problem, and escalation management.
Experience supporting month-end/year-end finance operations and project accounting issues.
Experience coordinating with Oracle Support, managed service providers, and technical teams.
Experience with enterprise application integrations such as Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Yardi, Unifier, and banking platforms.
Exposure to OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View, approval workflows, roles/security, and data reconciliation.
Hands-on EPM, FCCS, and TRCS is an additional advantage; exposure to Fusion AI Studio is preferred.
Skills We're Looking For:
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and follow-up skills with a true ownership mindset.
Ability to turn business issues into clear support actions, evidence packs, and resolution plans.
Solid understanding of ITSM, SLA management, change control, access control, and support governance.
Clear communicator, comfortable guiding users and team members with confident status updates.
Skilled at producing operational reports, knowledge articles, runbooks, and support documentation.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
