We develop ELIXIR MD™, a photobiomodulation system for clinical use, and work with surgeons and clinical teams. As we build our presence in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, we are developing Arabic and English digital experiences that communicate our technology clearly and responsibly. About the Role You will lead the strategy, development and ongoing improvement of the websites and digital platforms of ELIXIR MD INC. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical delivery, team management and close collaboration with marketing, design and sales. You will own the web roadmap and technical standards, translate business needs into reliable digital experiences, and ensure Arabic and English journeys work across devices. Your remit covers development, integrations, performance, security and the release processes that keep platforms dependable. What You Will Own Web strategy and delivery: Own the development roadmap, priorities, timelines and technical standards. Translate business requirements into practical solutions and manage delivery against the agreed roadmap. Technical leadership: Lead internal developers, freelancers and agencies. Review and test code for quality, performance and delivery, and maintain clear expectations for implementation and handover. Websites and conversion journeys: Build and maintain responsive websites, campaign landing pages and registration journeys. Improve navigation and conversion paths in partnership with marketing and sales. Bilingual experience and accessibility: Work with UI/UX designers to deliver accessible Arabic and English experiences, including right-to-left layouts. Translate Figma designs into production websites. Integrations and measurement: Connect forms with CRM, analytics, booking and marketing systems. Use APIs, webhooks and database integrations to support accurate tracking and reliable lead routing. Head of Web Development Responsibilities and Qualifications Performance and technical SEO: Improve speed, mobile performance, reliability and technical SEO. Use cross-browser testing and performance tools to identify and resolve issues. Platform operations and security: Manage hosting, domains, permissions, backups, security updates and releases. Maintain staging environments, deployment workflows and appropriate access controls. Documentation and quality assurance: Maintain clear technical documentation, testing, version control and handover procedures so platforms can be supported and improved consistently. Required Qualifications Minimum eight years of relevant professional web development experience, including technical leadership and management of developers, freelancers or agencies. Strong HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and React or Next.js skills, with backend development experience in Node.js or PHP. Experience building and maintaining WordPress or comparable CMS platforms, including custom development and integrations. Strong understanding of frontend and backend development, REST APIs, webhooks, databases and CRM-connected forms. Demonstrated experience implementing Arabic and English websites, right-to-left layouts, responsive design and accessibility testing. Experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Google Search Console, including conversion tracking and technical SEO. Proficiency with Git and GitHub, staging environments, automated deployment workflows and browser developer tools. Practical experience using Lighthouse or PageSpeed Insights, cross-browser testing, hosting management, backups and access controls. Ability to translate business requirements and Figma designs into practical production solutions, with clear documentation and code review practices. Strong professional English and Arabic capability; Arabic is a mandatory requirement. How Success Will Be Measured Success will be assessed through reliable releases, improved site performance, accurate lead tracking, stronger conversion journeys and timely delivery against the agreed roadmap. Work Environment Full-time, initially remote from Egypt, with an expected transition to on-site work in Cairo in approximately six months. Applicants must be willing and able to make this transition. Your schedule will include at least four hours of daily overlap with the Irvine, California team (Pacific Time) for meetings and reviews.
