Job Title: Senior Reinsurance Treaty Specialist Location: United Arab Emirates (Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time Work Arrangement: 100% Remote — Work From Home Level: Senior About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Reinsurance Treaty Specialist to manage treaty reinsurance arrangements, negotiate contractual terms, and support effective risk transfer strategies. The successful candidate will coordinate with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and internal teams to optimize coverage and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage proportional and non-proportional reinsurance treaty arrangements. Review treaty wording, coverage limits, exclusions, retentions, and renewal terms. Coordinate treaty renewals, placements, negotiations, and documentation. Analyze portfolio exposures, loss experience, and reinsurance requirements. Liaise with reinsurers and brokers to obtain competitive terms and suitable capacity. Monitor treaty premiums, commissions, recoveries, and contractual obligations. Support claims recoveries and resolve treaty interpretation discrepancies. Prepare treaty performance reports and recommend improvements to reinsurance strategies. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in treaty reinsurance, underwriting, or reinsurance broking. Strong knowledge of proportional and non-proportional treaty structures. Experience with treaty negotiations, contract wording, and renewal processes. Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Professional qualifications such as ACII, CII, or equivalent are an advantage.
