About BitDelta
BitDelta Pro is a regulated multi-asset broker providing access to global financial markets through advanced trading technology and infrastructure. Founded in 2022, we are building a trusted financial-services ecosystem supported by a team of experienced professionals, with a strong focus on innovation, market access and client experience.
About the Role
We are looking for an Accountant to own day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation across BitDelta Pro, a regulated multi-asset broker providing access to global financial markets through advanced trading technology and infrastructure.
This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented accounting professional who can keep the books accurate, timely, and compliant while growing alongside a fast-scaling financial-services business. You will sit at the intersection of finance, operations, and compliance, and you will make sure every number the business reports is ready to stand up to scrutiny from auditors and regulators.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Close & Reporting
You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS, and deliver the month-end close on time and to a high standard.
You will prepare management accounts and variance analysis, and explain key movements to senior stakeholders in clear, actionable terms.
Reconciliations & Client Funds
You will reconcile bank, custodian, liquidity provider, and payment processor accounts on a daily and monthly basis, and resolve breaks quickly.
You will oversee the reconciliation of client funds and segregated accounts, making sure balances are accurate and fully compliant with regulatory requirements.
Tax & Regulatory Compliance
You will manage VAT and UAE corporate tax filings, maintain the compliance calendar, and work with external advisors where needed.
You will support regulatory and capital reporting, and prepare the supporting schedules that regulators and auditors request.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
You will manage the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles, including invoice processing, approvals, payment runs, and collections.
You will maintain accurate vendor and intercompany records, and make sure every transaction is coded correctly and supported by documentation.
Audit & Controls
You will coordinate internal and external audits, prepare supporting documentation, and close audit findings within agreed timelines.
You will document and strengthen financial controls, segregation of duties, and approval workflows across the finance function.
Budgeting & Analysis
You will support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, and track actuals against plan.
You will analyse cost, margin, and revenue trends, and turn these insights into recommendations that help the business make better decisions.
Systems & Process Improvement
You will streamline finance processes and automate manual tasks, including reconciliations and reporting, to improve efficiency and accuracy.
You will work closely with Technology and Operations to ensure trading, payments, and back-office systems feed clean, reliable data into the ledger.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and a recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA (or actively working towards one)
3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within financial services, brokerage, fintech, or another regulated environment
A solid grounding in IFRS, month-end close, and general ledger management
Working knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements
Hands-on experience with reconciliations, including bank, client money, or custody accounts
Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis), and experience with ERP or accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent
Strong attention to detail, with a clear and organised approach to working under tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across finance, trading, and operations
Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
PREFERRED
Experience with a broker, exchange, or trading platform
Familiarity with regulatory reporting and client money rules
Experience working in multi-currency or multi-market environments
Exposure to audit within a Big Four or mid-tier firm
Working knowledge of automation tools or data visualisation software, such as Power BI
