Role Description The Life Insurance Agent role at MetLife Egypt is a full-time position based in Markaz Sohag with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home. The agent is responsible for identifying prospective clients, presenting suitable life insurance and related financial solutions, and supporting customers in selecting plans that match their protection and savings goals. Day-to-day activities include conducting needs assessments, preparing quotes and proposals, following up on leads, and maintaining ongoing relationships to ensure policy servicing and renewals. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards, and keeping detailed records of client interactions and sales activities. The agent is expected to meet sales targets while providing clear, ethical, and customer-focused guidance. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Insurance Sales and Insurance to effectively propose and manage life insurance solutions. Candidates should possess skills in Insurance Brokerage and Finance to support clients with product selection and basic financial planning considerations. Candidates should possess proven Customer Service abilities to build trust, handle inquiries, and provide ongoing support to policyholders. Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, accessible language. Candidates should possess goal-oriented and self-motivated work habits, with the ability to manage time, prioritize leads, and work both independently and in teams. Candidates should possess familiarity with basic digital tools (CRM systems, email, office productivity software) and a willingness to learn company platforms. Relevant experience in insurance, banking, or financial services is beneficial; a background in business, finance, or a related field is an advantage.
