We're Hiring | Consultant Critical Care 📍 Location: Dubai 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time A leading healthcare facility in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Critical Care Medicine Physician to join its Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing critically ill patients, providing advanced life-support interventions, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based intensive care. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and manage critically ill patients with complex, life-threatening medical and surgical conditions Provide advanced intensive care management, including mechanical ventilation and hemodynamic support Perform critical care procedures, including endotracheal intubation, central venous catheterization, and arterial line insertion Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with sepsis, shock, respiratory failure, and multiorgan dysfunction Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies based on clinical assessments Lead multidisciplinary ICU rounds and coordinate care with specialists, nurses, and respiratory therapists Manage medical emergencies, resuscitation, and advanced life-support interventions Communicate effectively with patients' families regarding treatment plans, prognosis, and clinical progress Ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital protocols, infection control policies, and patient safety standards Maintain accurate clinical documentation, ICU records, and treatment reports Participate in clinical audits, ICU quality improvement initiatives, and training of junior medical staff Requirements Qualifications & Requirements MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification Recognized postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine / Intensive Care Medicine or an accepted specialty qualification with appropriate critical care subspecialty training Fellowship, board certification, or equivalent recognized advanced training in Critical Care Medicine Valid DHA License or Eligibility Letter preferred Relevant post-specialization clinical experience meeting UAE PQR requirements for Consultant classification Strong expertise in mechanical ventilation, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, organ support, and emergency critical care Excellent clinical decision-making, leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills Benefits Competitive salary and attractive benefits package Opportunity to work in a leading healthcare facility in Dubai Modern ICU infrastructure and advanced critical care technology Supportive multidisciplinary working environment Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Important Note for Applicants If you have already submitted your CV to Astra Promed FZC , please do not reapply for the same or other advertised positions.
