The Hala Gallery is a digital destination where visitors can explore a curated collection and discover pieces that resonate with their individual tastes and experiences. Role Description The Tailor at The Hala Gallery will be responsible for tailoring garments and textile pieces that complement the gallery’s artistic vision. Day-to-day tasks include taking accurate measurements, conducting fittings, tailoring and dressmaking, and ensuring high-quality finishes and construction. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong tailoring and dressmaking skills, including garment construction, alterations, and finishing. Candidates should possess fitting and measurement skills to ensure precise, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing results. Candidates should possess communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and understand their needs. Experience working with different fabrics, patterns, and designs, with attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client requests and projects. Prior experience as a tailor or in a related garment production role; vocational training or certification in tailoring or fashion design is an advantage.
