Planning Engineer

Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain project schedules, baseline programs, timelines, budgets, and resource plans. Monitor project progress, milestones, productivity, and performance using Primavera P6 and MS Project. Prepare Level 3 and Level 4 schedules, weekly/monthly progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and resource histograms. Analyze critical paths, schedule delays, risks, and performance deviations, and recommend corrective actions. Coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Review subcontractor schedules, progress reports, and payment applications. Prepare Extension of Time (EOT) claims and delay analysis using TIA and Windows Analysis, where applicable. Track variation orders and update the master project schedule. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project scope, budgets, and deadlines. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Minimum 5–7 years of proven experience in project planning and scheduling. Proven experience in mega projects valued at SAR 100 million or above. Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong knowledge of Level 3/4 schedules, CPM, S-curves, dashboards, resource histograms, KPIs, and progress reporting. Relevant professional certification in project planning or project controls is mandatory. Knowledge of EOT claims, TIA, Windows Analysis, risk management, and contractual requirements.
