Job Description Oversee group financial control activities to maintain accurate, timely and consistent financial records. Review financial results and management information, highlighting key movements and areas requiring attention. Coordinate period-end close activities across relevant group entities to deliver reliable reporting. Maintain effective accounting controls and clear documentation across finance processes. Work with finance colleagues to resolve accounting queries and improve the quality of financial data. Prepare and review financial reports that help stakeholders understand business performance. Monitor balance sheet accounts and ensure appropriate reconciliations are completed and reviewed. Identify practical improvements to financial reporting processes and control activities. The Successful Applicant A successful 'Group Finance Controller' should have: Professional Accounting qualification is mandatory (ACA, ACCA, CA etc.) Experience in the industrial sector is mandatory Strong experience in financial control, accounting and group reporting activities. Ability to review financial information and identify significant movements or discrepancies. Sound knowledge of period-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations. Confidence in preparing clear, accurate financial reports for business stakeholders. Ability to maintain strong accounting controls and improve finance processes.
