Job Description: Rigger Level 1, Level 2 & Level 3 – ARAMCO Approved Company: NSH Saudi Arabia Location: Saudi Arabia Project: Oil & Gas Projects Positions: Rigger Level 1 / Rigger Level 2 / Rigger Level 3 Approval: Saudi Aramco-approved riggers required Job Summary NSH Saudi Arabia is looking for qualified and experienced Riggers (Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3) for oil and gas projects. Candidates must have relevant rigging and lifting experience, sound knowledge of lifting safety procedures, and valid Saudi Aramco approval/certification for the respective level. Key Responsibilities Perform rigging, lifting, shifting, and positioning activities in accordance with approved lifting plans and project procedures. Inspect slings, shackles, hooks, wire ropes, and other lifting accessories before use. Select suitable rigging equipment based on load weight, lifting points, equipment capacity, and job requirements. Secure and balance loads safely before lifting, lowering, or positioning. Coordinate with crane operators, signalmen, lifting supervisors, and other site personnel during lifting operations. Follow approved hand signals and communication procedures. Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco HSE requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and site safety standards. Identify hazards, report unsafe conditions, and stop work when lifting operations are unsafe. Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure lifting accessories are handled and stored correctly. Level-Specific Responsibilities Rigger Level 1 Carry out assigned rigging activities under the required supervision. Inspect and use basic rigging tools and lifting accessories safely. Assist with securing, attaching, and controlling loads during lifting operations. Rigger Level 2 Perform rigging operations involving more complex loads and lifting arrangements within the scope of certification. Assess load characteristics and select appropriate rigging accessories. Coordinate lifting activities with crane operators and other members of the lifting team. Rigger Level 3 Handle advanced and complex rigging operations within the scope of certification and authorization. Interpret lifting plans and assess rigging arrangements for challenging lifts. Guide and coordinate other riggers during lifting activities, where authorized. Ensure the lifting setup complies with approved procedures and safety requirements. Requirements Valid Saudi Aramco Rigger Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 approval/certification, as applicable to the position. Relevant experience in oil and gas, petrochemical, refinery, or industrial projects. Good knowledge of rigging equipment, lifting accessories, load handling, and safe lifting practices. Understanding of lifting plans, risk assessments, and site HSE procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a lifting team. Physically fit and willing to work in Saudi Arabia. Preferred Experience Previous experience on Saudi Aramco projects. Familiarity with Saudi Aramco lifting and rigging standards. Relevant rigging competency certificates and supporting approval documents. Note: Candidates must have the required approval for the specific rigger level.
