This role focuses on IT risk assessments, cybersecurity governance, vulnerability management, security compliance, and risk mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of information security, technology risk management, and business continuity practices. 🎯 Key Responsibilities • Conduct technology risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and operational security risks. • Evaluate IT infrastructure, applications, networks, and information systems for security weaknesses. • Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies to strengthen cybersecurity and technology controls. • Monitor cybersecurity threats, emerging attack methods, and technology-related risk developments. • Review IT policies, security procedures, and internal control frameworks to ensure effectiveness. • Assess access management, data protection, system security, and network monitoring practices. • Coordinate vulnerability assessments, security reviews, and technology risk audits. • Support incident response activities and investigate technology-related security concerns. • Evaluate third-party technology providers and assess potential cybersecurity and data privacy risks. • Ensure IT operations comply with applicable regulatory requirements and information security standards. • Prepare risk assessment reports, audit findings, and recommendations for management review. • Collaborate with IT departments, cybersecurity teams, compliance officers, and business stakeholders to improve risk management practices. ✅ Requirements • Background in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline. • Strong understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity principles, and information security controls. • Knowledge of network security, system vulnerabilities, access management, and data protection practices. • Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or COBIT. • Understanding of security audits, vulnerability management, and technology compliance requirements. • Familiarity with cybersecurity monitoring tools, risk management platforms, and security assessment technologies is an advantage. • Ability to analyze technical risks and translate complex findings into practical recommendations. • Strong analytical, research, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to coordinate effectively with technical teams, management, and external stakeholders. • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
