Junior BIM architect

BACE Design is Hiring Junior BIM Architect | Full-Time, In-House BACE Design & Build is seeking a Junior BIM Architect to support the development, coordination, and delivery of architectural projects. This is a full-time, in-house opportunity for an early career architect with a strong foundation in Revit and an interest in developing their BIM expertise. 1. BIM Standards & Model Quality • Develop and update architectural BIM models in Revit under the guidance of senior team members. • Follow project-specific BIM standards, naming conventions, and modelling procedures. • Keep models organised, accurate, and up to date as project information changes. • Check assigned models and drawings for completeness and consistency. • Ask for guidance when information is unclear and flag discrepancies promptly. 2. Architectural Modelling & Documentation • Assist in producing architectural plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and other project deliverables. • Incorporate design updates and review comments accurately into the model and drawings. • Support the preparation of drawings for internal review and submission. • Maintain alignment between the model and the project documentation. • Keep revisions and files organised in line with project procedures. 3. BIM Coordination & Team Collaboration • Assist with coordinating architectural models with structural and MEP information. • Help identify clashes, inconsistencies, and missing information for review by the project team. • Participate in coordination discussions and follow up on assigned actions. • Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, BIM team members, and project managers. 4. Work Planning & Development • Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines and provide regular progress updates. • Apply feedback from reviews and show steady improvement in modelling and documentation quality. • Take responsibility for assigned tasks and communicate early if support or clarification is needed. • Build practical experience with BIM workflows across different project stages. 5. Qualifications & Skills • Degree in Architecture or a related discipline. • Early-career experience or a strong foundation in architectural BIM production. • Basic to intermediate proficiency in Autodesk Revit. • Understanding of architectural drawings and construction documentation. • Familiarity with BIM coordination is an advantage. • Good attention to detail, organisation, communication, and willingness to learn.
