Data Engineer / BI Developer

Location: Qatar We is looking for a skilled Data Engineer / BI Developer with strong expertise in SQL Development, ETL Processes and Tableau Reporting to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong database background and hands-on experience in developing reporting solutions, integrating data from multiple systems, and building interactive dashboards that support business and operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, functions, and database jobs. • Design and optimize databases, reporting schemas, and data models. • Develop ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources. • Design and develop Tableau dashboards, reports, and KPI monitoring solutions. • Create efficient Tableau data sources, calculations, filters, and drill-down reports. • Perform query tuning, performance optimization, and data validation. • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, GIS Specialists, SCADA Engineers, and Customer Teams to deliver reporting and analytics solutions. • Support data analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting enhancements. Required Skills • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in SQL Development, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, or Reporting Solutions. • Strong expertise in: o Microsoft SQL Server o SQL Queries o Stored Procedures o Views o Functions o Query Optimization o Database Design & Data Modeling • Hands-on experience with ETL development and data integration. • Experience with Tableau Dashboard and Report Development. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. • Strong inter-personnel skills for direct interaction with stakeholders for understanding requirements, carrying out user testing and acceptance. • Strong written and spoken English language skills. Preferred Skills • Experience with MSSQL and Oracle databases. • Experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools. • Familiarity with Tableau. • Experience GitHub, JIRA. Show more Show less
