Senior Traffic Engineer (RTA Dubai Level 2 minimum, Level 3 preferred)

Key responsibilities Lead the preparation of Traffic Impact Studies and related transport assessments to RTA Dubai requirements. Carry each study from data collection through submission to authority approval, including responding to comments. Prepare trip generation, distribution and assignment from land-use data. Carry out junction capacity and level-of-service analysis in SIDRA, Synchro and HCS. Coordinate with clients, developers, architects and approving authorities, and present findings and recommendations. Check the quality of deliverables and review the work of junior engineers. Guide and mentor junior engineers. Qualifications & experience RTA Dubai approval as a TIS traffic engineer at Level 2 minimum; Level 3 preferred. Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of traffic engineering experience, including at least 5 years on RTA Dubai TIS studies. A track record of TIS submissions approved under RTA Dubai guidelines. Hands-on SIDRA, Synchro and HCS. Good report writing and presentation skills. Able to manage several projects at once and lead a small team. Nice to have Abu Dhabi ITC approval or experience. VISSIM or other microsimulation. Signal design and optimisation.
