About the Role We’re looking for a Senior Legal Advisor to support the Group’s legal, commercial, corporate and regulatory matters. The role will focus primarily on UAE law and its applicable legal and regulatory frameworks, supporting the Group’s businesses across insurance brokerage, technology, digital platforms, fintech, and technology and integration services. What You’ll Do Draft, review and negotiate commercial and operational agreements, including service, technology, vendor, outsourcing and licensing agreements. Advise on corporate and commercial matters relating to the Group and its subsidiaries. Support insurance and reinsurance brokerage activities, including advising on Central Bank of the UAE requirements, agreements with insurance companies and related regulatory obligations. Advise on technology and digital services matters, including software development, digital platforms, IT services, intellectual property, source code ownership and licensing, and confidential information. Provide guidance on applicable data protection, privacy, cybersecurity and information security requirements. Support corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and investment transactions, including legal due diligence and transaction documentation. Advise on corporate governance and corporate affairs, including preparing and reviewing board and shareholder resolutions. Work with internal stakeholders to identify legal issues, assess risks and provide clear, practical advice. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent legal qualification. At least 8 years of relevant legal experience, including substantial practical experience advising on UAE law and the applicable UAE and ADGM legal and regulatory frameworks. Strong experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements. Knowledge of UAE insurance and reinsurance brokerage laws and Central Bank of the UAE requirements. Experience advising on technology, digital services, data protection, privacy, cybersecurity, information security and intellectual property matters. Experience supporting corporate governance, subsidiary-related corporate matters, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, or investment transactions. Ability to work independently and provide clear, commercially practical legal advice across varied business areas.
