Role Description The Barista Trainer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Barista Trainer will design and deliver barista training programs covering espresso preparation, milk steaming, brewing methods, drink recipes, and workflow efficiency. This role includes conducting practical training sessions, evaluating trainee performance, and providing ongoing coaching to maintain high beverage and service standards. The trainer will support cafés and clients with menu development, equipment usage, and best practices in coffee quality and customer service. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve maintaining training materials, coordinating schedules, and collaborating with the sales and operations teams to ensure training aligns with Kozbean’s brand and service expectations. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Training & Development and Training skills, with experience designing and delivering structured barista or hospitality training programs. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear instruction, feedback delivery, and the ability to adapt teaching style to diverse learners. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills and a commitment to creating welcoming, high-quality guest experiences. Candidates should possess Coaching skills to mentor new and experienced baristas, encourage continuous improvement, and build confidence. Sound knowledge of espresso, brewing methods, coffee origins, and café operations; prior barista or café management experience is strongly preferred. Ability to work on-site in Doha, Qatar, including flexibility to conduct training sessions at different client locations. Professional certification in barista skills or coffee education (e.g., SCA or equivalent) is an advantage.
