We build AI-powered learning tools (such as WhatsApp chatbots) that help students learn math. We also partner with governments and school systems to reach the world’s most vulnerable learners. 🚀 Since launching from Harvard and Stanford in 2021, Darsel has helped 500,000+ students learn math through government partnerships in Jordan, India, and Nigeria. About the Role: 🦸 Darsel develops curriculum-aligned K-12 math content, including questions and explanations, in several languages. As a content reviewer, you will be responsible for driving and strengthening our quality assurance processes for math content in the English and Arabic languages. You will independently review our content, examining pedagogy, accuracy, clarity, and logical soundness. You will also support the content team by providing specific and constructive feedback. Your role will directly improve the quality of our math content and amplify our educational impact for students worldwide. Job Responsibilities: 🔄️ Contribute to our quality assurance processes from content design to delivery 📝 Evaluate math content across various dimensions including pedagogy, accuracy, clarity, and formatting 🌍 Evaluate curriculum alignment and equivalence between English and Arabic content 💬 Provide clear, constructive feedback to support continuous improvement 🔎 Flag recurring error patterns and suggest improvements to content development guidelines 🤝 Support partnerships and collaborations with external researchers and content experts Requirements: 🎓 Bachelor's degree in math, education, or a related field ✍️ 5+ years of experience writing, editing, and reviewing K-12 math educational content 📐 Deep understanding of K-12 math curricula, including design patterns and common student misconceptions 🔎 Exceptional attention to detail 🤹 Ability to work independently and productively in a remote environment 🗣️ Fluency in both Arabic and English, including mathematical terminology in both languages Preferred: 🎓 Graduate degree in math education or a teaching diploma 🏫 Formal experience as a mathematics teacher in a K-12 school environment 🧮 Familiarity with LaTeX or KaTeX for math typesetting 💻 Familiarity with Python or similar programming languages 🧠 Familiarity with generative AI tools Application Instructions: To apply, please fill out the form at https://airtable.com/appS7o2XlGcxgkJGE/pageaV3VOfDAT6lgF/form.
