You’ll prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and work with the kitchen team to keep food quality and presentation consistent. Responsibilities. Prepare ingredients and mise en place for daily service. Support cooking, assembly, and plating. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. Check ingredient quality and report shortages or concerns. Label, date, and store ingredients correctly. Follow food safety, hygiene, and allergen-handling procedures. Keep equipment and workstations clean and organized. Track preparation waste and reduce avoidable losses. Communicate with the team to keep preparation and service on schedule. Qualifications. Basic knowledge of food preparation, knife skills, and kitchen equipment. Attention to recipes, portions, and presentation. Willingness to learn, take feedback, and apply it. Ability to stay organized and work under pressure. Reliability and clear communication skills. An understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene. Previous kitchen experience or culinary training is preferred.
